A captivating stage experience that brings Istanbul’s legends together with light, aerial acrobatics, and digital illusions, inviting the audience to become part of the story.
At Yücel Cultural Foundation, we value hosting distinctive experiences that bring Istanbul’s cultural heritage together with contemporary performing arts and new technologies. As part of Culture Hunters, we are bringing audiences together with “The Little Prince: An Adventure in Istanbul”, a spectacular journey shaped by light, movement, imagination, and the legends of the city.
The story begins as the Golden Light, carrying Istanbul’s memories, dreams, and legends, begins to fade. If the light disappears completely, the stories of Istanbul will be forgotten. The city’s last hope is Sara, the final Guardian of Light.
Sara’s journey to restore Istanbul’s light takes the audience from Galata to the wings of Hezarfen Ahmet Çelebi, and from the dark waters of the Bosphorus to Medusa’s mysterious underground cistern. Her search for the lights of Wisdom, Courage, Hope, Heart, and Strength unfolds into an epic adventure leading toward the rebirth of Istanbul.
One of the most distinctive elements of the performance is its interactive LED wristband experience. Wristbands given to audience members change colour in harmony with the rhythm and scenes of the performance, transforming the entire auditorium into part of the visual world of the show.
Live performances on stage are seamlessly synchronized with advanced Ghost Screen projections. As the boundary between reality and digital illusion begins to disappear, sweeping swings, spiral flights, and gravity-defying aerial acrobatics complete the spectacular visual experience.
“The Little Prince: An Adventure in Istanbul” is more than a show to watch. It is a multi-layered Istanbul experience where audiences become part of a journey in search of light, courage, and hope.

Culture Hunters is not simply about being an audience member; it means becoming part of a community that experiences and reflects on cultural events while building a stronger connection with culture and the arts. Through these activities, participants gain access to high-quality artistic experiences and discover different forms of stage storytelling.
“The Little Prince: An Adventure in Istanbul” is also part of the Culture Hunters program, inviting everyone who wishes to experience Istanbul’s legends through aerial acrobatics, interactive lighting technologies, and digital illusions to Yücel Arts Center.
