Psychological Resilience & Awareness Workshop: “Motherhood Is Not a Barrier”
We are pleased to introduce the first event of the “Motherhood Is Not a Barrier” project, carried out by the Active Youth in Social Responsibility team.

This project aims to support women working in the private sector in coping with discrimination, mobbing and psychological pressure they may face during pregnancy. The workshops organized within the project are designed to strengthen psychological resilience and create a safe space for sharing experiences.

In this first workshop, we will explore ways to cope with stress, pressure and uncertainty that may arise during pregnancy in professional life. Through practical exercises and group work, we aim to provide a supportive and empowering learning environment.

🌿 About the Project

The “Motherhood Is Not a Barrier” project aims to support women in the private sector in coping with psychological challenges they may face during pregnancy in professional life.

This initiative focuses on addressing discrimination, mobbing and pressure, while creating a safe and supportive space for women to share their experiences and strengthen themselves.

👥 Who Can Participate?

Women working in the private sector or continuing their professional careers who wish to strengthen their psychological resilience during pregnancy are welcome to join.

🎤 Guest Trainer

Clinical Psychologist – Betül Kayıcı

Graduated from Istanbul Aydın University, Department of Psychology in 2016. Completed her master’s degree in Forensic Medicine and Ethics at Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University in 2018.

She began her professional career in the field of education and worked as a psychologist at an educational institution affiliated with İstek Foundation for 6 years. She currently continues her work at Mena Counseling Center, which she founded.

She has received training in play therapy, solution-focused therapy, transference-focused therapy and projective tests with children. She has also presented academic work at international congresses on gender equality, women’s and children’s rights, and child development.
