The event leader facilitates communication among participants, supports the group flow before and during the event, and strengthens coordination between the foundation and Culture Hunters.

To become an event leader, you must have attended at least 10 events. Applicants are evaluated by the foundation, and selected candidates are assigned to events after completing a training process.

Application Process

  • Event leaders are selected from Culture Hunters who have attended at least 10 events.
  • Applicants fill out the event leader application form.
  • The foundation selects candidate event leaders from the applications.

Training and Assignment

  • Event leaders receive emergency training provided by the foundation.
  • The foundation assigns an Event Leader to each event to ensure safety.

What is included in emergency training?

  • How to act in situations such as earthquakes or fires during an event
  • How to proceed if an event is canceled
  • What to do if a participant feels unwell, falls, or faints
  • How to respond to verbal harassment directed at the group

🧭 Duties and Responsibilities of the Event Leader

  1. Creates a WhatsApp group for participants attending the event.
  2. Adds the relevant foundation representative to each group.
  3. Gathers information about the event and shares it with participants.
  4. Collects tickets either from the foundation or the venue box office.
  5. Arrives at the venue at least 30 minutes before the event starts.
  6. Waits for participants while sharing live location and holding the foundation flag.
  7. Distributes tickets and ensures participant entry.
  8. Takes photos with participants where the event is visible.
  9. Collects ticket stubs for submission to the foundation’s accounting.
  10. Submits a standard event report, ticket stubs, and photos within three business days.

What happens if two people want to lead the same event?

Only one person can be assigned as the Event Leader. The foundation makes the final decision.

What happens if the Event Leader cannot attend?

If they inform the foundation in advance with a valid reason, a new Event Leader is assigned. In necessary cases, foundation staff may take over the role.

What happens if the Event Leader fails to fulfill their role without a valid reason?

They lose not only their Event Leader status but also their Culture Hunter status and must reapply.

What happens if some responsibilities are not fulfilled?

The leader will not receive the allowance, loses Event Leader status, and returns to being a regular Culture Hunter.
