🤝 Youth and Volunteering Programme - Volunteer Applications Are Open!
Would you like to meet new people, develop your skills, gain new experiences, create things together and play an active role in initiatives with cultural and social impact?
The Youth and Volunteering Programme at Yücel Kültür Vakfıis a youth programme in which participants do more than attend events: they develop ideas, take responsibility, gain teamwork experience and become actively involved in initiatives that benefit society. It is a nine-month programme.
November 2026 - July 2027 is when the programme takes place. Applications are open to young people aged 16-29 .
Two participation options are available: Online Volunteering and Local Volunteering in Istanbul.
You don't have to live in Istanbul to volunteer. You can contribute remotely from your own city. If you live in Istanbul, you can also take an active role in in-person events and projects alongside online activities.

👥 Who Can Volunteer?
Young people aged 16-29
People who can regularly devote time to volunteering
Those open to meeting new people and working in a team

Previous volunteering experience is not required. What matters is your willingness to learn, collaborate, take responsibility and actively participate in the programme.

🌍 Can I Apply if I Live Outside Istanbul?
Yes! Our volunteering programme is not limited to young people living in Istanbul.
Young people aged 16-29 living in different cities across Türkiye can apply for Online Volunteering .
Those living in Istanbul can also take part in local, in-person activities alongside online projects.

If you live outside Istanbul or want to contribute to our activities remotely, you can apply for Online Volunteering .
Online volunteers can get involved in different activities depending on current needs and their own interests.

VOLUNTEERING OPTION 02
📍 What Is Local Volunteering in Istanbul?
Young people who live in Istanbul or can regularly attend activities there can become local volunteers in Istanbul .
Alongside online activities, local volunteers can help with events and projects organised in person by Yücel Kültür Vakfı in Istanbul.

Not all volunteers are expected to do the same tasks. We aim to match activities to each person's skills, interests and learning goals, while considering the Foundation's needs.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
❓ Do I Need Previous Volunteering Experience?
No. You do not need to have worked or volunteered with a nonprofit organisation before applying.
Your first volunteering experience can be with Yücel Kültür Vakfı.
If you already have experience in an area, you can share it. If not, you can join to learn new skills and develop yourself.
What matters is that you approach volunteering with motivation, responsibility and a willingness to learn.
