PROGRAM CONTENT

🎨 What Will We Do During the Program?

Over six weeks, we will explore the essential elements of musical theatre, examine different musicals, and experience various performing arts disciplines.

ACTING AND IMPROVISATION

🎭 Acting and Improvisation

Through character development, stage expression, and creative acting exercises, we will explore different ways of telling stories.

Improvisation will help us generate ideas, develop characters, and experiment with original scenes.

MUSIC AND RHYTHM

🎵 Music and Rhythm

We will work with voice, rhythm, and musical expression while exploring different ways of making music together.

We will discover how music supports storytelling and becomes part of a collaborative performance.

DANCE AND MOVEMENT

💃 Dance and Movement

Through practical exercises, we will develop body awareness, explore movement design, and experience physical storytelling.

We will discover how movement can communicate characters, emotions, and stories on stage.

STORY DEVELOPMENT

💡 Creating a Story

We will develop creative ideas, choose a shared theme, and build an original theatrical narrative around it.

We will experiment with transforming our ideas into characters, events, and scenes.

STAGE DESIGN

🎨 Stage Design

We will explore the relationship between space, movement, music, and acting to bring different elements of stage storytelling together.

We will investigate how visual and physical choices can support the stories we create.

COLLECTIVE CREATION

🤝 Collective Creation

By bringing different ideas together, we will develop original musical scenes.

We will practice listening to one another, making shared decisions, and participating in a collaborative creative process.

COLLECTIVE CREATION

🎭 Let's Create Our Own Story Together!

Based on the Devised Theatre (Collective Creation) approach, this program invites participants to develop their own story together rather than perform a pre-existing play.

Working around a theme chosen collectively, participants will combine writing, acting, music, and dance to develop original scenes.

Starting from an idea, we will explore storytelling, character development, and stage composition as part of a shared creative process.

🎭 At the end of the program, we will present our collaboratively created mini musical to an audience!

Making mistakes is allowed!

Being silly is allowed!

Having fun is allowed!
