Application Information

Support a Dream is a donation campaign platform created to help talented young people who need special support in education, science, arts, sports, technology, entrepreneurship, social impact, or similar development areas reach their goals.

Within this scope, young people may apply to make their need for support visible through Yücel Cultural Foundation in order to continue their education, attend a school, program, research project, competition, arts or sports organization they have been accepted to, or pursue a special development opportunity related to their goals.

Who Can Apply?

Young people who need support to continue their education, attend a school/program they have been accepted to, pursue scientific research, benefit from an opportunity required for their artistic or athletic development, or realize a concrete goal in technology, entrepreneurship, or social impact may apply.

Applications are reviewed by considering the applicant’s previous work, achievements, goal, preparation process, required funding, campaign timeline, and any critical dates, if applicable.

Required Information for Application

Applicants are expected to clearly share the following information in their application email:

  1. Supporting documents showing what they have accomplished so far, such as achievements, acceptance letters, student certificate, transcript, portfolio, project file, sports/arts awards, research outputs, or similar documents
  2. Their goals and the institution, program, competition, research, project, or development opportunity they wish to attend or pursue
  3. The preparation they have completed for this goal
  4. The amount of funding needed and, if possible, the expense items
  5. The expected duration of the campaign
  6. Any critical date, such as an application, registration, payment, commitment, competition/program date, or similar deadline
  7. The file name of the uploaded application video and, if available, a share link

Application Video

Applicants are expected to prepare a video of no more than three minutes explaining their goals, story, and what they aim to achieve.

The video can be submitted to Yücel Cultural Foundation through the upload link below:

Important: The video file name must include the applicant’s first and last name. Example: NameSurname_SupportADream.mp4. Videos that do not include the applicant’s name in the file name or exceed three minutes may not be reviewed.

Uploading the video alone is not sufficient for application. For the application to be reviewed, the applicant must also send an application email to info@yucelkulturvakfi.org using the “Open Application Email” button below or by sending an email that includes the same required information.

Review and Publication Process

Applications are reviewed by Yücel Cultural Foundation. The Foundation decides which applications will be published on the website.

The Foundation reserves the right not to publish a campaign if it does not find the application suitable, or to remove a published campaign from the website.

By submitting an application, applicants declare and acknowledge that they give their explicit consent for their information, documents shared within the scope of the application, and videos to be published on Yücel Cultural Foundation’s website, social media accounts, and other communication channels.

How Does the Donation Process Work?

  • Published campaigns are announced through Yücel Cultural Foundation’s website and communication channels.
  • Donations are received by credit card or debit card through the virtual POS system.
  • Collected donations are used in line with the relevant student’s education, arts, sports, research, or development goal after expenses arising from payment infrastructure, bank/transaction commissions, and transfer processes are deducted.
  • When necessary, the donation amount is transferred to the student or to the relevant education, research, arts, sports, or development institution designated by the student as a scholarship or educational support.
  • For payments to universities, educational institutions, research centers, or relevant institutions abroad, the process is followed through official channels by Yücel Cultural Foundation. When necessary, Yücel Cultural Foundation commits that the collected donation amount will be transferred to the relevant institution through official channels.

To apply, you can click the button below to open a draft email containing the required fields. After completing the fields in the email, you can send it with your supporting documents attached.

Note: If your email client does not open automatically, you can send your application to info@yucelkulturvakfi.org with the subject line “Bir Hayale Destek Ol Başvurusu”. For your application to be reviewed, your email must include your full name, contact information (email address and phone number), your previous work and supporting documents, your goal, the institution/program/project you wish to attend or pursue, your preparation process, the funding you need, the campaign duration, any critical date if applicable, and the file name or link of the video you uploaded. Your email must also include a statement, in Turkish, declaring that the information you provided is accurate. It must also state that by applying, you give your explicit consent for your information, the documents you share within the scope of the application, and your video to be published on Yücel Cultural Foundation’s website, social media accounts, and other communication channels.
