2025-2026 Foreign Language Scholarship Results

In addition to students who continue as scholarship recipients, during the 2025–2026 academic year, a total of 70 principal and 6 alternate recipients have earned and will earn the Foreign Language Scholarship in October and April.

What Should Foreign Language Scholarship Recipients Do?

Applicants on the principal list

• Those whose names are on the principal list will be contacted by email, and certain documents will be requested based on the information they provided in the application. They must first complete the requested documents by Monday, 27 October 2025.
• Undertaking form: each page must be signed, scanned, and uploaded to your form on bursverenler.org.
• They should choose the language school they wish to attend and take the placement test.
• They are obliged to inform the foundation about the chosen language school. At this stage, the foundation will contact the school. If it wishes, the school may sign an agreement with the foundation to secure its payments.

Important note

For Foreign Language Scholarship recipients, a minimum attendance of 60% and advancement to the next level are required; otherwise, the scholarship is forfeited. For each level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2), a separate scholarship of 2,800 TL is awarded. If you advance to the next level with a success rate of 80% or higher, an additional 500 TL achievement incentive is awarded for the new level, and your scholarship becomes 3,300 TL. You are responsible for the remaining portion of the fee requested by the chosen educational institution. If you receive all achievement incentives, the total scholarship amounts to 19,300 TL; without the incentives, the total from A1 to C2 is 16,800 TL. For those starting from an intermediate sublevel, payments continue until all levels are completed within the framework of the scholarship regulations.

Applicants on the alternate list

If those on the principal list do not complete their documents within the given time; if any current recipient completes their scholarship level, loses their entitlement, or if the board increases the number of language scholarships, the applicants on the alternate list will gain the right to the scholarship in order. The same steps followed by those on the principal list apply.

Candidates who did not win the Foreign Language Scholarship may reapply next year.
